A royal stay on the canal
From our picturesque room, we were serenaded by gondoliers while enjoying a good breakfast served with great attention. The ambiance felt regal.
Finding the reception next door was slightly confusing at first, but the warm welcome made up for it. The bed was a bit too firm for my comfort.

Enjoyed this authentic hotel, great and stunning location and airy rooms. Location: the property was very close to the sights, shops and great restaurants, Venice for a very short time-one late afternoon, and all major attractions. And it's at a moderate distance from Rossopomodoro Venezia, ate there once or twice.

The breakfast setup was a total delight, especially the fresh cakes & pastries! 😍 Great location, lovely decor, and the staff were super accommodating. Only downside was the room could get a bit warm.

The luxurious canal views from my room were nice.
Unfortunately, I encountered several issues . The air conditioning was ineffective. I could not get the room cool enough for restful sleep. Twice in a three-night stay, water leaked from the shower onto the floor, causing my suitcase to get soaked. Limited storage space in the room was also quite irritating.

There were authentic, fairly quiet rooms with prosecco, tea facilities, for example. The staff was GREAT and the service was great throughout our stay.

The breakfast spread was a good feast, with fresh pastries and a variety of hot options that set the tone for the day. The common areas were beautifully adorned.

The people there are very kind and courteous. Rooms are old style rooms and are nice for a change.
Location - it's a little bit away from the action. Getting to the hotel from the boat jetty with luggage is bit of an issue. The hotel should make arrangements with one of the local Gondolas and offer this as an arrival option. This would make the trip even more interesting!

The hotel and staff was amazing from check-in to check-out. The suite that we had was amazing and so comfy inside. The morning buffet breakfast offered many choices and it all tasted good. The location was good, only 5-10 minute Vaporetto (water taxi) and was in a good location to set out each day site seeing. It was very quite at night.

Central to all aspects of the island. Staff helpful. Rooms nicely furnished and decorated. View of canal.
Room 103 was very close to the kitchen so had some noise in the morning with preparation for breakfast being put in the dining room. Room was on a corner so had windows both sides, can be noisy at night with people walking along the canal at the front of the hotel, so unable to have windows open when going to sleep. No tea or coffee making facility in the room.

We felt the hotel was slightly overpriced.
